At around 3.40pm on Saturday 18 March 2023, a man entered a liquor store on Beach Road in Duncraig and made his way to the spirits section. The man took two high end bottles of whiskey off the shelf and placed one down his pants and the other into a bag he was carrying. As he was confronted by a staff member the one bottle fell out of his pants which was retrieved. The man exited the store without paying for the bottle of whiskey in his bag.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age, a rat tail hair style, thin moustache and goatee with tattoos on both legs. He was wearing a light blue ‘Raiders’ jumper, black shorts, white runners and a black cap.
