At around 12.15pm on Tuesday 1 November 2022, a man entered a liquor store on Beaufort Street in Highgate with a dog on a leash. The man removed a 4-pack of Smirnoff Ice pre-mix from the fridge and placed them into his pants pockets. When the man was exiting the store, the staff member asked him what was in his pockets but the man ignored the staff member.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with black curly collar length hair. He was wearing a sleeveless navy blue puffer jacket over a long sleeved black t-shirt, blue trousers, blue joggers, blue baseball cap with a brown dog on a leash.
