Bayswater Police are seeking assistance with a stealing incident that occurred at a grocery store along Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley on Wednesday 7 November 2018.

 

Around 10:20am a man has entered the store and spoken to a supervisor about refunding an item previously purchased.

 

After a short conversation, the supervisor left the front desk momentarily and the man walked behind the counter and stole a quantity of cigarettes.

 

A second staff member witnessed this incident and told her supervisor. When the man was confronted, he denied the claim and left the area.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as fair skinned with a medium build and approximately 170-175cm tall. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black long sleeve shirt and a black and red cap.
