Around 10.45pm on Saturday 12 January 2019, the victim, a man in his 20’s, was seated inside a fast food restaurant on Beeliar Drive Success on his laptop computer. A man approached him and engaged him in conversation, distracting him whilst removing items from the victim’s bag. Amongst the items removed, were a mobile phone and a wallet, containing cash and credit cards. The man then left the area in company with a female.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as fair skinned, around 30 years of age, medium build and a shaved head. He was wearing a dark coloured polo shirt, blue jeans and white runners. He has a tattoo of a hand of a skeleton on the back of his head, as well as tattoos on his neck and right arm.
