At around 12.15pm on Thursday 16 March 2023, CCTV records a woman with a child inside a grocery store on Belmont Avenue in Cloverdale select numerous food items and conceal them inside a bag in her trolley. The woman paid for other items from her trolley in the self-checkout but not the concealed items. Staff confronted the woman and retrieved the concealed food items.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with long blond braided hair. She was wearing a light blue dungaree romper over a brown singlet with thongs and a brown shoulder bag.
