At around 12.15pm on Thursday 12 May 2022, the elderly victim was sitting inside a licenced premise on Bolton Avenue in Burswood waiting for her husband with her handbag on the floor near her feet. When her husband arrived the victim picked up her handbag and joined her husband. A few minutes later when the victim opened her handbag she realised her wallet containing cash and personal cards was missing.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short brown hair, a thin moustache and beard. He was wearing a black hooded Lonsdale jumper with blue jeans and black runners.
