UPDATE: A man has been charged with stealing.

 

Around 7pm on Monday 29 June 2020, a man gained entry to the car park of an apartment complex on Bronte Avenue East Perth. He grabbed a bicycle that was in a car space before riding towards the exit. When a vehicle drove in, the man rode out and away from the complex.

 

Around 6.45pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020, two men (one on a bicycle) gained entry to the same car park. They approached a bicycle behind a parked vehicle. The bicycle was secured by a ‘D’ lock. In the process of trying to steal the bike, the bike became damaged before they gave up and left. Police believe both incidents are linked.

 

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Around 30 years of age, thin build and dark short hair.

 

The second man is described as: Thin build, blonde hair, wearing dark clothing and a dar coloured baseball cap.
