At around 12.10pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023, the victim placed her handbag on the back of a toilet cubicle door at a shopping centre on Burslem Drive in Maddington. When the victim exited the toilet cubicle, her handbag had been taken along with all the contents, including the victim’s sunglasses, prescription reading glasses, house keys, car keys and purse with some cash and bank cards.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age. She was wearing a grey hooded jumper.
