At around 5.10pm on Thursday 28 March 2024, the victim purchased a pink coloured suitcase at a retail store on Burslem Drive in Maddington. The victim sat down on a bench to rest and placed the suitcase alongside her. The victim got up and walked away and after realising she had left the suitcase next to the bench, rushed back to find the suitcase had been taken.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with long black hair tied into a pony tail and a tattoo visible on the inside of her right forearm. She was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans with sneakers.
