At around 2.30pm on Monday 22 July 2024, a man and woman entered a liquor store on Cambridge Street in Wembley. The woman walked up to the service counter and while speaking with the staff member, the man went into the wine section and took two four litre wine casks and one bottle of wine off the shelf. The man walked straight out of the store without paying for the wine.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age, with long black hair tied back into a pony tail and an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a blue jacket over a blue and white flannelette shirt, blue pants, blue joggers with a blue cap.
