At around 2:10pm on Sunday 19 September, the victim was leaving a shopping centre on Canning Highway in Bicton. As the victim walked to her car holding her handbag, a woman has approached her from the rear and attempted to remove her purse from the handbag.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as: tanned skinned, slim build, between 25-35 years of age with long dark brown hair. She was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black sneakers.
