At around 3.04pm on Thursday 15 June 2023, a woman was inside a clothing store on Canning Highway in Como browsing items of clothing on display racks. The woman notices the victim’s mobile phone on top of a coffee table, walks over and picks up the mobile phone placing it in her jacket pocket before looking up at the CCTV camera and leaving the store.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 40 to 50 years of age with brown hair brushed back. She was wearing a black jacket, dark blue trousers, white shoes with a black and white shoulder bag.
