Around 2.30pm on Sunday 3 November 2019, the victim attended a pharmacy on Chisham Avenue Kwinana and began speaking with a staff member. During the conversation, her purse was left on the counter as she was shown a product. When she returned, her purse was missing.


A check of the CCTV footage revealed that a woman approached the counter, saw the unattended purse, took it and left the store. Inside the purse were credit cards and cash.


Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The woman is described as: Light skinned, around 30 years of age, thin build and short brown hair. She was wearing a light-coloured cap, white singlet and has a tattoo on the inside of her left forearm/wrist.
