At around 5.00pm on Monday 3 October 2022, a man exiting a tool store on Clayton Street in Midland was stopped by a staff member and asked if he had any items requiring payment. The man took a pneumatic die grinder from his jacket and handed it over before walking out the store. A review of CCTV showed the man had also removed a socket set and gear wrench from the store without making payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, with a shaved head, thin beard, moustache and thick goatee. He was wearing a black hooded jacket over a maroon shirt, navy blue pants and grey runners.
