Around 3.30pm on Monday 8 July 2019, two women entered a retail store at a shopping centre in Belmont. They have walked to an aisle which contained make up items and the first woman placed several items inside a jacket she was holding. As she began to walk away some of the items fell to the floor so she stopped to pick them up and put them back inside the jacket. The second woman stood next to her, blocking the view of staff members.

Both women walked from the store. The items included make up and gift packs to the value of more than $150.

Police have released a CCTV image of two women who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first woman is described as: Brown skinned, thin build, around 20 years of age, dark hair tied up, wearing dark clothing and carrying a green handbag.

The second woman is described as: Brown skinned, medium build, around 20 years of age, dark hair tied up, wearing dark clothing and carrying a brown should bag.
