At around 12.30pm on Monday 11 October 2021, CCTV records a woman approach the elderly  victim in a supermarket on Collier Road in Morley. While the victim was looking at products in a fridge with her trolley next to her, the woman removes the victim’s purse from inside the victim’s handbag. The handbag was laying at the bottom of the victim’s trolley.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tanned skin, medium build with long black hair. She was wearing a long sleeved pink top, black leggings, blue and white sliders and she was carrying a black backpack.
