UPDATE: A 34 year old woman from Rockingham has been charged with stealing thanks to information received at Crime Stoppers from the community. Thank you!

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Around 2pm on Wednesday 5 September 2018, a woman entered a retail store on Dixon Road Rockingham.

The woman walked to where the printers were stacked and selected a large one and carried it towards the exit.  As she attempted to walk out, a staff member approached her and the woman produced a receipt.  The staff member checked the receipt to find that it had nothing to do with the store, let alone the item. The woman ran from the store and was last seen in the car park area. The printer was worth around $600.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: 25-30 years of age, medium build and shoulder length dark/purple hair. She was wearing a black top over a black shirt with white writing on the front, long dark pants and white runners.

If you have any information about this offence please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. You can remain anonymous if you wish and rewards are available once charges are laid. Please quote Reference Number 9017
