At around 8.00pm on Monday 2 January 2023, a man entered a supermarket store on Edinburgh Road in Forrestfield and walked into the freezer section. The man took numerous items from the freezers and placed them into a backpack he was carrying. A staff member asked to check the man’s backpack as he left the store, but the man refused and became aggressive as he walked off.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with short hair, beard and moustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt with vertical stripes, black pants, black runners, a black cap worn backwards and carrying a black backpack.
