Warwick Police are seeking assistance with damage and stealing incident that occurred along Ellersdale Avenue, Warwick on Wednesday 5 December 2018.

Between 8am and 4pm, a man has used an unknown object to smash the front passenger window of a parked Toyota Camry.

The man has rummaged through the vehicle and stolen a backpack before leaving the area on a bicycle.

The backpack was later recovered nearby by the victim.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as dark skinned with a large build and aged between 20 and 30 years of age. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper, blue pants and orange shoes.
