Around 8pm on Thursday 2 July 2020, a man on a bicycle approached the entrance of an apartment block on Fitzgerald Street North Perth. He has then attempted to gain access to a bank of letterboxes in view of a CCTV camera. Once he noticed the presence of the camera he approached the camera, removes a tool from a bag across his chest and removes the camera unit from the wall. He cut the wire and caused damage to the wall in the process.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The male is described as: Light skinned, around 25 years of age, medium build and facial hair. He was wearing a black beanie, dark coloured New York Yankees jacket over a white t-shirt and mustard coloured long pants. He was riding a dark coloured mountain bike.
