At around 2.30am on Monday 9 May 2022, when the victim was at a restaurant on Francis Street in Northbridge, she got up to go and purchase a drink leaving her purse on her chair. A person walked up and grabbed the purse off the chair and ran out of the restaurant. Around forty five minutes later a bank card from the stolen purse was used to make a purchase in Burswood.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tanned skin, slim build, straight brown hair tied back with a tattoo on the back of each hand. She was wearing a black jumper, black pants with thongs and carrying a grey and blue bag over her shoulder.
