Cockburn police are seeking public assistance as they investigate a fraud and stealing from a motor vehicle that occurred in Hammond Park on Sunday, 25 January 2026.

About 3.00pm, the victim parked their car on Jacaranda Road.

When they returned to the vehicle the following day, they discovered a credit card had been stolen from the front console.

CCTV captured an unknown woman using the stolen bank card to make multiple fraudulent transactions in Bibra Lake, Hamilton Hill and Spearwood.

The woman is described as being of slim build, with dark hair. She was wearing a dark hooded jacket over a light top and gym shorts.
