Between 2.00am and 5.50am on Monday 13 September 2021, around 25 vehicles parked in numerous streets in Maylands were broken into by unknown persons. Entry into the vehicles was gained by smashing side windows before removing items from within the vehicles.

At 4.15am on the same day a bank card stolen from one of the vehicles was used to try and make a purchase at a service station in Maylands.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, medium build with a thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a light blue jacket, a Chicago Bulls black baseball cap and was carrying a black backpack.
