Wembley Police are seeking public assistance as they investigate an attempted stealing from a motor vehicle incident in Floreat on Saturday, 3 May 2025.

Around 11pm on 3 May, the victim parked their vehicle outside their home on Orrel Avenue in Floreat.

Sometime in the night, an unknown man gained entry into the vehicle and rummaged through the glove box, centre console and boot of the vehicle.

When the victim returned to their vehicle around 7am the next day, they discovered the car open and in shambles.

The man is described as: fair skinned, with brown hair and a short beard. He was wearing a Jack Daniels T-shirt, shorts, gloves and was carrying a black backpack.
