At around 1.15pm on Wednesday 18 December 2024, a man entered a store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland. He spotted a wallet that had been accidentally left behind by the victim. He grabbed the wallet and concealed it in his pocket before exiting the store.
Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, large build with white stubble. He was wearing a blue top, grey shorts, white sneakers, a grey hat and was carrying a black bag.
