At around 12.15pm on Monday 28 February 2022, an unknown offender smashed the front passenger window of a vehicle parked in a communal car park on Guildford Road in Maylands and removed a pair of sunglasses and wallet from the vehicle. A short time later the victim received alerts on his phone that a bank card in the stolen wallet was being used shops nearby. A total of 5 fraudulent purchases were made using the victim’s stolen bank card.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age, black collar length hair with an unshaven appearance and a tattoo on his left arm. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, black shoes, black baseball cap and was carrying a small brown bum bag.
