At around 7.45pm on Monday 24 April 2023, a woman walked into a liquor store on Hay Street in East Perth and was recorded on CCTV placing a bottle of wine into her bag. The woman then removed a 6 pack of pre-mixed alcohol from the fridge and placed it on the counter to pay for it. When the woman’s bank card was declined, the woman left the store with the concealed bottle of wine in her bag.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 45 to 55 years of age. She was wearing a pink ‘Phoenix’ tracksuit with grey shoes, a grey cap and multi-coloured scarves hanging from her head.
