At around 3.30pm on Monday 22 January 2024, the young victim was sitting inside a fast food restaurant on Hay Street in Jolimont with his e-scooter at the table with him. The victim left his table for a few minutes and returned to find his e-scooter missing. The victim saw a person outside the restaurant riding away on an e-scooter which looked like his e-scooter.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age, with dark brown hair, a thin moustache and tattoo visible on his right upper arm. He was wearing a ‘Ecko’ camo shirt, camo shorts, black and white sneakers and beige cap.
