At around 1.00pm on Tuesday 24 January 2023, a man entered a liquor store on High Street in Fremantle and removed a 10 pack of pre-mixed Jack Daniels whiskey from a fridge. The man placed the 10 pack on top of the counter as if to pay, but suddenly picked it up and ran from the store. A staff member chased the man who dropped the 10 pack. While retrieving the 10 pack the man returned and kicked the staff member a few times before running away.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with light brown hair and three symbols resembling stars tattooed on the left side of his chest. He was shirtless wearing dark coloured shorts, black shoes with a black piece of clothing draped over the top of his head.
