Between 6.00pm and 7.30pm on Sunday 17 December 2023, the victim’s wallet was removed from her tote bag while at a bar on the James Street Mall in Perth. The victim became aware her wallet had been taken when she received notifications from her bank of suspicious transactions occurring on two of her bank cards. A total of eleven fraudulent purchases were made before her two bank cards were cancelled.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with long red hair. She was wearing a black and white shirt, blue trousers with black and white sneakers, carrying a black shoulder satchel and was riding an e-scooter.
