At around 5.30pm on Friday 3 December 2021, the victim left her mobile phone at one of the self serve checkouts at a supermarket store on Joondalup Drive in Banksia Grove. A review of CCTV shows a man pick up a mobile phone from one of the self serve checkouts in the store and walk away with it.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short black hair and a black moustache. He was wearing a black polo shirt, dark coloured pants with brown shoes.
