At around 1.50pm on Thursday 9 November 2023, the victim was sitting at a table inside a fast food restaurant on Joondalup Drive in Joondalup waiting for his order. When the victim collected his order from the service counter he decided to sit at a table outside. As he sat down outside he realised he had left his phone back at the table inside. The victim returned to that table to find his phone had been taken and not handed in by anyone.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 year of age with straight brunette shoulder length hair. She was wearing a white vertical pin striped jumpsuit, sandals, sunglasses and carrying a black backpack.
