At around 6.20pm on Sunday 26 November 2023, the victim took his kids into a video gaming arcade on Joondalup Drive in Joondalup, leaving a Christmas tree he had just purchased inside a trolley at the front entrance door. After approximately 10 minutes the victim noticed the trolley and Christmas tree were no longer there.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: white skinned, medium build, between 25 to 35 years of age with brown straight shoulder length hair. She was wearing a light-coloured long sleeve top and thongs.
