At around 5.25pm Wednesday 2 October 2024, a woman entered the change room inside a fashion store on Jull Street in Armadale with five items of clothing on hangers. The woman exited the change room without any clothing items and when asked by a staff member to check her large brown carry bag, the woman became verbally aggressive and exited the store without paying for any items. Five empty hangers were found in the change room.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with long black hair. She was wearing a black coat over a brown jumper, light blue jeans with white sneakers and sunglasses.
