At around 6.30pm on Sunday 8 January 2023, the victim was sitting on a park bench feeding her baby on Lake Monger Drive in West Leederville. After the victim placed her baby back into a pram parked near her she realised her mobile phone containing a bank card and driver’s licence was missing from inside the pram. The victim had noticed a man and woman walk past moments earlier. Five fraudulent purchase were made that morning using the victim’s stolen bank card.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with collar length straight black hair. She was wearing a white long sleeved jumper over a black blouse, black pants, slide on shoes with sunglasses.
