At around 11.00am on Saturday 6 May 2023, the victim parked her car on McClemans Road in Mount Claremont. The victim returned to her car at around 1.15pm to find the left front window smashed and her handbag from the front left footwell stolen. Bank cards inside the handbag were used to make 23 fraudulent purchases that day before the victim could cancel her bank cards.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age, long brown wavy hair with blonde streaks. She was wearing a black jacket over a white t-shirt, black pants, thongs and was carrying numerous bags.
