At around 11.30am on Tuesday 13 June 2023, the victim dropped her handbag on Murray Street in Perth near the intersection of Barrack Street. Her handbag contained a mobile phone and purse with a bank card. At around 12.05pm the victim’s bank card was used by an unknown person to purchase make two fraudulent purchases at a tobacco store nearby.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 50 to 60 years of age with a short grey beard and walks with a limp. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, blue jeans, black runners, sunglasses with a green and black cap.
