At around 3.45pm on Saturday 16 April 2022, a woman entered a retail store on Murray Street in Perth and walked to the handbag section and selected four handbags. The woman placed three of the handbags into one of the handbags and went to the cash register where security staff confronted the woman. The woman handed over one of the concealed bags and as she walked out of the store she handed one more of the concealed bags to security, but kept two of the handbags.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with long dark brown hair. She was wearing a dark coloured shirt, back pants, sliders and carrying multiple shoulder bags.
