At around 4.20pm on Thursday 18 July 2024, a man is seen on CCTV enter a gift and souvenir store on Murray Street in Perth and walk around the store browsing products on display. The man is seen pick out a wooden plate and exit the store with it, making no payment.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 40 years of age with short brown hair, beard and moustache, and a tattoo visible on the outside of his left ankle. He was wearing a navy-blue jumper, blue shorts, white sneakers and a dark coloured cap.
