At around 10.50am on Wednesday 19 April 2023, the victim visiting from Portugal to participate in the World Transplant Games in Perth, parked his orange KTM Revelator bike inside a supermarket store on Murray Street in Perth. Less than five minutes later a woman walked through the entrance swing gate of the store and takes the bike. She walked out of the store with it, then climbed onto it and rode away.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, large build, between 35 to 45 years of age, black hair tied back into a ponytail with visible tattoos on her right upper leg and middle of her upper back. She was wearing a black dress, black sandals with a black shoulder bag and sunglasses on her head
