At around 4.20pm on Sunday 21 January 2024, a man and woman were seen on CCTV enter a gift store on Murray Street in Perth and browse jewellery items on display. The woman pointed out a silver opal ring and iron ore bracelet to the man who took the items off the display before both exited the store making no attempt to pay for the two items.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with shoulder length black curly hair and tattoos visible on her left arm. She was wearing dark blue shorts, white tank top, white sneakers and a black shoulder bag.
