At around 4:56pm on Friday 25 August 2023, a man and woman entered a department store on Murray Street in Perth. While the pair browsed the store, the man removed a Tommy Hilfiger backpack and clothing from the shelves, handed all the items to the woman who placed them in her carry bag. The man and woman then exited the store without making any payment.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build between 25 to 35 years of age with short black hair and black facial hair. He was wearing a white Everlast shirt and black shorts with black sneakers.  

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with brown hair. She was wearing a black jacket, black pants and black sneakers carrying a black crossbody bag.
