At around 11.30pm on Saturday 21 March 2020 two males were skateboarding at a park in Leeming when they were approached by a group of six males.

 

One of the males approached the first victim and punched him in the chest before attempting to take his phone. The victim was punched several more times before running off and hiding in bushes. One of the men was in possession of a knife and another had a bottle.

 

The second victim gave up his bag which contained his wallet, phone and car keys and was then demanded to hand over his jewellery. The victim ran away but was followed by the group and assaulted resulting in a cut to his hand.

 

Upon returning to the scene the victim has realised his car was also stolen by the group.

 

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: light skin, skinny build, tall, and 18 years of age wearing a black hooded jacket, black tracksuit pants and black trainers.
