Around 6am, on Sunday 16 August 2020, entry was gained to a commercial premises off Sainsbury Road O’Connor, by damaging a lock on a gate. A vehicle towing a distinctive trailer was driven inside the property and parked alongside a petrol bowser.

 

A man got out of the vehicle and began filling up two Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC’s) on the trailer. A total of 1349 litres of diesel fuel was placed inside the IBC’s and the vehicle then left the scene, via the same gate entry was made.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The vehicle is described as possibly a Nissan Patrol with roof racks and the trailer is dual axel.
