At around 7.55pm on Tuesday 21 March 2023, a woman walked into the cool room of a liquor store on Ranford Road in Southern River. She is seen on CCTV take three 10-packs of pre-mixed alcohol and place them into a big carry bag. She left the store without paying for the alcohol and returned a few minutes later and was confronted by a staff member. The woman took out a can of pepper spray and sprayed it at the staff member before running off.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with reddish hair tied up on top of her head. She was wearing a black singlet, blue denim shorts with thongs, carrying a red and white striped bag and black shoulder bag.
