At around 12.45pm on Tuesday 14 December 2021, the victim was pushing a trolley and browsing the display shelves in a retail store on Rockingham Road in Spearwood. The victim turned and saw a man grab her handbag from her trolley and run off. The victim attempted to follow the man but lost sight of him. The victim went into a nearby bank to cancel her bank card, however the card had already been used to purchase alcohol from a nearby liquor store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 35 to 45 years of age with very short hair and sleeve tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a grey ‘Lonsdale’ T-shirt, dark coloured pants with grey joggers.
