At around 2.30pm on Tuesday 10 September 2024, a woman was stopped by a staff member after exiting a sportswear store on Russel Street in Morley, without paying for items of clothing in a shopping basket taken from inside the store. The staff member was able to retrieve all the clothing items, but not two pairs of sports shoes concealed in a bag she was carrying.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age. She was wearing an olive green jacket, ping pants, black and white sneakers with a black Burqa and sunglasses.
