At around 2.35pm on Wednesday 26 April 2023, a woman pushing a pram entered a hardware store on Scarborough Beach Road in Innaloo. The woman walked into the electrical items aisle and was assisted by a staff member to select some items from a locked display. The woman concealed some of these items in a compartment on her pram. Upon exiting the store, the woman paid for some items but not the concealed items.

The woman was approached by a staff member outside the store and the concealed items were recovered.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with dark brown hair tied up on top of her head. She was wearing a black t-shirt, black three quarter pants with thongs and was carrying a black handbag.
