Around 6pm on Friday 29 November 2019, a man and woman entered a licensed premises on South Street Fremantle. The woman was taken upstairs by a staff member to test taste some wine, while the male remained downstairs. The man walked to a counter, opened a drawer and removed five packets of cigarettes with a retail value of around $135. The woman came back downstairs a short time later and both of them left the premises.

 

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 25 years of age, solid build with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt and blue jeans. He had extensive tattoos on his left arm.

 

The woman is described as: Light skinned, around 25 years of age, medium build and brown hair tied up. She was wearing a white top, light coloured skirt and carrying a shoulder bag.
