Around 7.15pm on Thursday 31 October 2019, a young family parked their vehicle in the driveway of their home on St Kilda Road Kewdale. After getting their young children inside, one of their children called out to their parents that someone was inside their vehicle. The father went outside and a male ran from the area. It was ascertained, that in the hurry to get their children inside, a mobile phone and credit card were accidentally left inside the vehicle. Both of these items were stolen. The credit card was reported stolen immediately to their bank and the card was cancelled.
